There are many reasons a dog is better than a man. For those of us with pets, we know they are an integral part of our support system. And blessing them to lead a long and healthy life, is just a normal and healthy thing to do.

With this in mind, the Sunshine Cathedral, at 1480 SW 9th Ave in Ft Lauderdale is inviting owners to bring their pets on Saturday October 2, 2010 at 9:00 AM as they offer the prayers of Saint Francis of Assisi at a Pet Blessing Service. The service will take place in the courtyard by the local chapel. An offering will be received to support a local Humane Society.

St Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of animals and it is customary to bless animals on or near his feast day of October 4.

Bring your pet and come join us.

What are the things you wish someone had told you? Let’s create a list of things a newly diagnosed person needs to do.

I’m creating a New Page for the Web Site called NEWLY DIAGNOSED. Have a look, click Here. Tonight is your opportunity to comment on this page and help work up Part 5, Making a Plan.
