Last Year’s Love

When a medication saves your life, you can fall in love with it. But new treatments for HIV work just as well–and often with fewer side effects and toxicities.

.

Wednesday’s talk will be about recent advances in HIV treatment and potential future treatments.  We’ll talk about reasons to hang on to old medications and possible reasons to move on to the new ones.

.

Finally, we’ll talk about a study we’re doing at Midland Medical Center that’s looking at how one new treatment might reduce side effects and toxicities from HIV medications.
