Hi Everybody, here are a few movies and shows we have enjoyed. Some are on Netflix, Hulu or HBO. Well worth the subscription during a pandemic. Highly recommend the Free viewing of HBO’s ground breaking documentary about the recent LGBT persecutions in Russia & Chechnyas called “WELCOME TO CHECHNYA.” Also, loved the HULU comedy series “LOVE VICTOR” (a sequel to LOVE SIMON). The boys are cutie pies. Send your picks to: John at Jramos4000@aol.com. Enjoy and stay safe.

THE LAST CZARS (ON NETFLIX)
The Last Czars is a six-part English-language docudrama TV-series that premiered on Netflix on July 3, 2019. There are magnificent sets, costumes and scenery. For those who like history, this is a must see that explains how and why the Communist Party came to power in Russia. The plot revolves around the Romanov family, the last royal family of Russia, which ruled until the Russian Revolution finally deposed the last czar, Nicholas II, in 1917. It is part documentary, part drama that starts with Nicholas II’s accession to the throne, the outbreak of the Russian revolution and ends with Nicholas II’s eventual ejection from the throne.[1][2][3]

THE SHOW MUST GO ON: QUEEN+ADAM LAMBERT
(ON NETFLIX)
The Show Must Go On follows the behind-the-scenes activities between Lambert and original Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor since Lambert’s American Idol debut in 2009. The pair first performed together singing ‘We Are the Champions’ on the reality TV show and then decided to work together on a larger scale through several tours, eventually creating the Queen + Adam Lambert brand.
The Show Must Go On contains rare concert footage and interviews with Lambert, his parents Leila and Eber, Brian May and Roger Taylor, Simon Cowell, Bohemian Rhapsody star Rami Malek and Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins. The documentary is a two-hour special that will focus on the rise of a collaboration that would lead to “200 sold-out show in arenas and stadiums across the world.”
Thanks for great tips here. Love, Victor is fantastic!
