Synopsis
Emma Woodhouse, a young and beautiful, but vain, woman, lives in a large mansion on the Hartford estate of her elderly father in the village of Highbury. She has no wish to marry but enjoys pairing up her family and friends. The film follows Emma and her friend, Harriet, as they experience friendship, love and heartbreak in this adaptation of Jane Austen’s book.
