On June 5, 1981 the CDC in their weekly report published an article about 5 young men, all active homosexuals, in Los Angeles who had come down with Pneumocystis pneumonia. This would become the anniversary of the AIDS epidemic. This date is now recognized also as Long Term Survivors Day and this is our topic for Wednesday June 5, 2019.
