#1 Miami area (Miami, Ft Lauderdale, Palm Beach) accounted for 4,849 new HIV cases in 2015, making it the top metro region in the country in new HIV rates.
103,696 Floridians are living with the virus. Of that number, over 51,000 are living in the Miami-Dade metro area.
