Never Grow Up

HELP!!! I think I’m a lesbian trapped in a gay man’s body.

Early, early, early New Year’s Day morning, Paul, the Cruise Director (Penn State alum), Jimmy, my long time friend from Philly (Penn State alum) and my ex-neighbor Justin (Florida alum) and I (Penn State alum) drove up to Tampa for the Outback Bowl College Football Game between Penn State and Florida.

Jimmy gave our trip the theme; “Never Grow Up”. I decorated the car with Penn State stickers and blue paw prints. Some of the Florida fans were dressed quite ridiculously, but no, not us. We were dressed stylishly in white. Justin tolerated our rah-rah behavior but eventually had the last laugh as Florida won 37-24. Although our team lost, we all had a blast. One of the best New Year’s I’ve ever had.

The weather was perfect, I was with good friends doing something I enjoy and it was healthy.
Here we are parachuting into the stadium with the Pirate ship of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers behind us. No, that’s really not us. Did you really believe I’d jump out of a perfectly good airplane?

We each made a list of the reasons why we like College Football. I came up with 29 reasons of why I enjoyed this game. Jimmy came up with 36 reasons. Paul could only come up with 16 reasons. Justin came up with 92 reasons, then 84, then 46, then 51 then 33, then 96 and finally settled on 79.
