Wednesday Topics are the topics we handle at our Wednesday Night support group, POZitive Attitudes. We meet at the GLCC – Pride Center in Equality Park, 2040 N. Dixie Hwy, Wilton Manors, FL 33305 from 7:00-9:00 PM.
Each week, we have a different topic. The topics are sometimes serious, sometimes fun, and sometimes controversial. Some weeks we’ve had guest speakers that speak on issues concerning our members. Our aim is to share information and build support.
At the bottom of the page is a list of proposed topics. Let me know what topics you want to discuss.

I was going to suggest the facial wasting topic; I’m glad to see it on your list. You might find this interesting: http://marksking.com/my-fabulous-disease/my-fabulous-disease-video-11-a-facial-wasting-update/
Mark
Mark,
Awesome video. I’d like to use this video when I do the topic on Facial Wasting, if you approve. This really shows what the procedure is more than anything I could explain verbally. Let’s talk on this too. The first doctor that I dealt with on facial wasting referred to it as the HIV Tattoo. And that was how I felt about it.
Thanks for all your work, great blog
-Steve
I would like to go to speak to your group in March. I am going to visit Mark King to make some videos with him, so please let me know.

World Hepatitis Day, observed July 28, aims to raise global awareness of hepatitis B and hepatitis C and encourage prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
Approximately 500 million people worldwide have either hepatitis B or hepatitis C.[1] This represents 1 in 12 people, and was the basis for the 2008 World Hepatitis Day Am I Number 12? campaign. If left untreated and unmanaged, hepatitis B or C can lead to advanced liver scarring (cirrhosis) and other complications, including liver cancer or liver failure. Every year 1.5 million people die from either hepatitis B or C.[2]
World Hepatitis Day has been led by the World Hepatitis Alliance since 2007 and on May 2010, it got global endorsement from the World Health Organization.[
