On Sunday, May 20, the Pride Center will again participate in Florida AIDS Walk, a fundraising walkathon to address the AIDS crisis in our community–this year along Ft. Lauderdale beach. We’ll be joined by thousands of others who understand that we must take action now to halt the escalating spread of HIV/AIDS in South Florida. Women in Network, Positive Attitudes Here and Now and other groups are uniting with us to form a team this year. Won’t you join us?
All the funds the Pride Center team raises will return to the Pride Center for use in vital services to people living with HIV/AIDS. The Pride Center provides a welcoming, safe space–an inclusive home that celebrates, nurtures and empowers the LGBTQ communities and our friends and neighbors in South Florida.
We need your help.
1. Could you walk with our team? (Last year, our team boasted over 100 walkers.)
2. Could you sponsor us financially? (Last year, we raised over $34,000.)
3. Would you help us recruit more walkers or sponsors?
We hope we can count on your support. We need caring people like you to collaborate with us to impact our community and fight HIV/AIDS.

This is a great way to support the work of the Pride Center and to confront the HIV/AIDS crisis in our community….
Please help spread the word to any friends, family, contacts or potential participants!
